Enhance prompt rewrites the current input before you send. The original sentence can be short. After the rewrite, the model you are chatting with runs it.

When to use it

It fits drafts like these:
  • “Make the login look better”
  • “This is a bit slow”
  • “Take a look at this”
It does not fit instructions that already have clear acceptance criteria and a file scope.

How to use it

  1. Write a draft in the input. You can include @ file references
  2. Click the enhance entry on the input toolbar
  3. Review the rewrite and edit it if needed
  4. Send
The engine and model used for enhance do not have to match the current chat.
Enhance itself uses tokens. Use it when the draft is vague and worth cleaning up first.
