# Settings overview

> Map CC GUI settings entries so you can jump to the right page.

Settings is its own view: entries on the left, forms on the right. Everyday theme, Node path, provider, and MCP changes all start here.

Three subtabs.

### Appearance

* Theme: follow IDE / light / dark
* Language: follow IDE, or lock Chinese, English, and so on
* Font size, UI font, code font
* Chat background, user-message color, chat-bar color

## Usage stats

Shows token use, cost estimates, and trends. Cost depends on the unit prices you enter on the provider or custom model.

## Other

* **History input completion**: suggest from history, accept with `Tab`
* **Auto-generate AI session titles**: generate a short title after the first turn

## Codex pet

Settings has a **Codex pet** entry for the floating pet. In some modes this entry may be temporarily unavailable (grayed out).
